Study Abroad Program Reapproval Policy

The study abroad course approval process has been established as part of study abroad program review. The academic information for study abroad programs is facilitated by the Office of Curriculum Systems. Staff in the Office of Curriculum Systems reviews academic information included in study abroad program proposals to ensure this information is consistent with the course information approved in the CAPA system and that the academic information is in compliance with University of Georgia and Board of Regents policies and guidelines. Subsequent to Curriculum Systems review, the course information will be submitted to department heads and deans for consideration. The Study Abroad Course Approval System has been established to facilitate this process.
